Land Registry Circular Memorandum (LRCM)

Land Office Circular Memorandum No. 107

23rd October 1992

Cessation of deposit of Wills in the Land Office for safe custody

The Land Registration (Amendment) Ordinance 1992 came into operation on 1st October 1992. As a result, facilities for the deposit of Wills with the Land Office for safe custody are no longer available. Those already deposited with the Land Office have now been transferred to the Probate Registry of the Supreme Court for future safe custody and any person wishing to enquire about or uplift their own Will should apply to the Probate Registry direct.
