The following enhancements of the IRIS Online Services (www.iris.gov.hk) will be rolled out at 7:30 am on 26 September 2026 (Saturday). For enquiries, please contact our Customer Service Manager by: (1) sending email to csa@landreg.gov.hk or (2) calling 3105 0000.
Extension of Operation Hours of IRIS Online Services
With effect from 7:30 am on 26 September 2026, the operation hours of IRIS Online Services will be extended from the current 20 hours to 21.5 hours a day as follows:
Every day from 7:30 am to 5 am the next day
(Last order cut-off time at (i) 4 am (for searching land register and ordering land document) and (ii) 12:30 am (for searching land register (whole building)))
Enable "Online Self-Unlock" Function by Default (For Subscribers)
Update the "Online Self-Unlock" function* setting ("Enable" by default) for Supplementary Login IDs.
Please note that under the "Online Self-Unlock" function, subscribers may go to "Account Management" > "Enquire Security Profile" to set up the Security Profile (security questions and email address) to facilitate self-unlock and reset password for locked Login ID (using the "Forgot Password" function), i.e. instead of submitting an application form or seeking a Supervisor to unlock it.
Enable "iAM Smart Login" Function by Default (For Subscribers)
Update the "iAM Smart Login" function* setting ("Enable" by default) for Supplementary Login IDs.
*Please note the Supervisor Login ID can continue to use the "Enquire Login ID(s) Status" page to view, enable or disable the functions for supplementary Login IDs.
