Cross District Search Service at New Territories Land Registries
- As part of the Land Registry's commitment to provide the most efficient service to customers, a Cross District Search service at New Territories Land Registries (NTLRs) will be introduced with effect from 3 October 2000. From that date, customers can conduct land searches and place orders for computerised land registers and copies of imaged land documents for properties anywhere in the territory in any of the following NTLRs, in addition to Central Search Office (CSO) on 19th Floor of Queensway Government Offices:
- North
- Sai Kung
- Sha Tin
- Tai Po
- Tsuen Wan
- Tuen Mun
- Yuen Long
- Existing services provided to subscribers to the Direct Access Services (DAS) remain unchanged. They can continue to collect imaged copies of NT land documents (except Block Government Leases) at the counters of CSO or at the NTLR where the property is located.
- Inspection of original plans, Government Leases and other land documents will continue to be available at the relevant NTLRs or the Reports-on-Title & Owners Incorporation Section (for urban land records) at Sai Wan Ho.
