Reduction in Application Fee and Minimum Deposit for Integrated Registration Information System (IRIS) Online Services Subscriber Accounts
With effect from 1 October 2009, the one-off application fee for each new IRIS Online Services subscriber account will be reduced from $2,000 to $1,000.
At the same time, the minimum deposit for settlement of search and copying services ordered in a subscriber account will also be reduced from $1,000 to $500 or an amount equivalent to two months' estimated transaction volume of the said account, whichever is the higher. Existing subscribers with low transaction volume may apply for a reduction in the deposit with the Land Registry.
