IRIS Online Services

PhotoSince February 2005, we have been providing search services over the internet (IRIS Online Services) for 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. To promote the service, we had showcased the IRIS Online Services at the ICT Pavilion 2006 and ITU Telecom World 2006. Briefing sessions on the use of IRIS Online Services were organized for government departments in May 2006. 314 users from 27 departments had attended the briefing sessions.

By the end of March 2007, the number of subscribers to the IRIS Online Services reached 620. Searches conducted online grew to a record high of 90% of the total search volume. Searches by ad hoc users by means of credit cards and PPS constituted 16% of all online searches.
