Performance Pledges were first launched in 1993. They are reviewed annually and a report on actual performance for the past year and updated pledges for the coming year is published. Through these pledges, members of the public are informed of the standard of services which they can expect from the department in registration of land documents, provision of land records and other related services.

When IRIS went live on 12 February 2005, many services were revised and new services introduced, requiring new performance pledges to be set. The chart  sets out our new services and pledges as compared with those under the old system.
