The aim of the Property Information Hub is to integrate data held by different departments into packages that meet public needs. The Land Registry is joining the Rating and Valuation Department to help launch this service. In December 2004 an invitation for expressions of interest from potential private sector partners was issued. There was a good response to this invitation and we are now examining the institutional arrangements needed to enable this project to proceed as a form of public private partnership.
